Elizabeth is a dedicated mother and grandmother whose life work is defined by a deep commitment to service, both professionally and spiritually. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for over 30 years, she has brought a compassionate touch to the underserved and under-represented communities in New York City. In her spiritual life, she is a respected Olorisha in the Lucumí tradition, offering guidance and wisdom to her community. Her work as a nurse and her practice as an Olorisha are deeply interconnected, each discipline informing the other to create a holistic approach to wellness for all those she encounters. Her service extends to the boardroom, where she brings a practical, caring perspective as a board member for Crossing the Waters Institute for Cultural Exchange. She holds a special dedication to community health & wellness by guiding others towards healing and balance, a passion informed by her decades of caregiving.
Her hobbies include cooking, dancing, traveling and sharing quality time with loved ones.
